Wordlists

ENABLE3 Wordlist - ENABLE stands for Enhanced North American Benchmark LExicon. This is the default wordlist that comes with Word Finder Pro it contains 172,000 words.

TWL Wordlist - Tournament Word List 2006 version hence TWL06. This wordlist contain over 178,000 words and it comes with Word Finder Pro as well as the ENABLE wordlist. In order to use this wordlist with WFP choose it under the settings tab. This is he offical wordlist used in North America.

YAWL Wordlist - This wordlist contains the ENABLE wordlist and suplemetry wordlists it contains 264,000 words.

SOWPODS - This wordlist is the offical wordlist used outside of North America. It contains 267,000+ words.

DBNS Crossword Wordlist Version 2.0 - This wordlist was created by us at DBNS in order to be used by Word Finder Pro in Crossword mode. The list contains names and other words that are not allowed in Scrabble and Countdown. The wordlist contains 419,000 words. Click here to download. This wordlist was automatically generated for rapid deployment so there may be a few errors.

COBUILD Wordlist - Collins COBUILD English dictionary for advanced learners. 3,000+ words

UKACD17 Wordlist - The UK Advanced Cryptics Dictionary created by Ross Beresford this wordlist contains 200,000+ words

DBNS Giant Wordlist Version 1.0 - This wordlist contains all of the above wordlists with the duplicate words removed. This wordlist contains nearly 600,000 words.

We still need a better crossword wordlist with phrases, towns, countries, movie titles, sports names, etc. If you have a wordlist that could be used email it to WordFinder@DBNS.org and we can format it and release it here for WFP users to use.

Installation Instructions.

Unzip the wordlist to a choosen directory. WFP directory would be the perfered directory. Load WFP click on the settings tab and browse for the new wordlist by clicking the browse button for the selected mode. You can use three different wordlists for each game mode.
